A School that you will always want to come back to

DSM-EGRESADOS-2023

Through the recently created Office of Admissions and Graduates, we establish close relations with those who have been in our classrooms because they are important members of our Educational Community.

For 14 years, our students spend their days among classrooms, paying attention in classes, enjoying breaks, and spending time with friends. At the Deutsche Schule Medellín campus, boys, girls, and young students learn about values, learn how to be citizens of the world, and learn how to develop analytical and critical thinking skills. In brief, they become integral individuals. After spending their first few years with us, they’re ready to face the challenges of university, and eventually, those in their professional lives.  Moreover, they also learn skills that will help them successfully navigate their social and family lives. Everyone who has been a part of our Institution is very valuable to us. Graduated students are essential members of our Educational Community. For this reason, and to be in contact with them, we created the Office of Admissions and Graduates more than a year ago. We want our graduate students to know that our School doors will always be open  them, that we will support them in their projects and initiatives, and that our facilities are available to them if they ever want to use them to present one of those initiatives. Even though they do not come to Campus on a daily basis, they can always come back, and we can still share values and principles.

Nuestra apuesta no es solo de 14 años; el nuestro, es un Colegio para toda la vida.

We know that our graduate students have a lot to offer. That is why we want to give them a platform so they can communicate with our students and teachers. We want them to be a bridge between the school and the world. We want them to become an inspiration for future and present generations, and for that reason, we constantly schedule activities in which they can share their academic and work experiences. We love it when our graduate students come back, we like for them to be surprised by the changes they find, and we also like to show them how we’ve evolved. We foster encounters among different generations, we facilitate spaces for them to meet friends from other times, and to do networking with graduate students from different years.

We did so we organized the first graduate students meeting in our Campus, at the end of 2022. They are our best ambassadors, who, with their voice, with their academic and work performance, bring honor to our School in our city, our country, and in the world. Every time a graduate student talks about their education and experiences at our School, we move one step closer to our sustainability.  We open our School doors to our graduate students and to their families. Many of them are a part of our school staff and teaching staff, and many more continue being a part of our Community because they choose us to educate their children. A graduate student who is close to us is something that excites us. It’s about understanding that we go for a life-long education, not only educating for 14 years. Our School is for life. We don’t only educate our students for 14 years only, our school education is for life. Some of our graduate students in the Meeting that we had at the end of 2022. At our School, we foster spaces in which our graduate students can meet.
