A graduate student is a recognized filmmaker

Laura Mora, who graduated from the school, received the Golden Shell for best film with “The Kings of The World”, at the recent San Sebastián Film Festival (Spain). This is the first time a Colombian wins this award. She also received the SIGNIS award at the same festival, with her first feature film “Killing Jesus”. “The Kings of The World” has been described by specialized media, as a dreamlike and painful “road movie”. It is about five young men from the streets of Medellín who look for their dream land.
