When I grow up, I want to be…

In our culture, we usually ask kids: what do you want to be when you grow up? And, once they get to Klasse 12, one of their main questions has to do with which career path they want to pursue.

Dreams change and vocations arise. Some Kindergarten and Klasse 12 students responded as follows:

  • “I want to draw cats professionally. I love cats and I love drawing. Besides, I also like cat books”. Martina García Valencia, Kinder.

  • “Ever since I was little, I’ve liked films and cartoons. I know that we don’t have a specific degree that will teach me about effects, so I found another one that caught my attention: animation and video game design. I used to want to be a soccer player”. Camila Giraldo Serrano, Klasse 12.

  • “I want to be a vet because I like animals. I like watching them, taking care of them, and returning them to the wild. I would also like to be an explorer because I love watching animals exploring”. Félix Jesús Pino Echeverry, Prekinder.

  • “When I was little, I wanted to be a flight attendant. But ever since I turned 8, I decided to become an airline pilot. It’s a dream I’ve had from all my experiences flying commercially”. Nicolás Peláez, Klasse 12.

  • “At first, I wanted to be a doctor because I was obsessed with Grey’s Anatomy. I also wanted to be a cop. But later, I discovered that I want to choose a degree related to business”. Juan José Ortiz, Klasse 12.
