Deutsche Schule Medellín has been reaffirmed as a Microsoft Showcase School, an honor shared only by the four German schools in Colombia. This global program highlights the commitment of educational institutions to implementing technology in education and their digital transformation processes. This designation positions DSM as a leader in this field, showcasing its dedication to technological advancement in teaching. Additionally, teachers Ángela González, Yuly Ann Rabert, Norbey Román, Julia Heckel, Diana Gómez, and Jaime Moreno have obtained the MIE Expert certification – Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert; only 50 teachers in Colombia hold this distinction, recognizing innovative leaders and educators who embrace new methodological trends and applied educational technologies.
